HARD ROCK


It is a style of rock music from the 1960s, characterised by aggressive vocals, electric guitars, drums and bass guitar, accompanied with pianos and keyboards.

THE ROLLING STONES

They are an English rock band formed in London, England in 1962.
Members:
-Mick Jagger (singer).
-Keith Richards (guitar).
-Brian Jones (guitar).
-Bill Wyman (bass).
-Charlie Watts (drums).
At the beginning they started doing covers but then they got fame with the song “The Last Time”.
The song “I can´t get no Satisfaction” became a hit for the band.
In 1968 they went back to hard rock style.
The band is active and they are still successful. In total they have 25 albums, 10 live albums and 92 singles.
The Rolling Stones were included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989.

QUEEN


They were a British rock band formed in London in 1970.
Members:
-Freddie Mercury (singer and piano).
-Brian May (guitar and vocals).
-Roger Taylor (vocals and drums).
-John Deacon (bass).
The album “News of the world”, with the songs, “We Will Rock You” and “We Are the Champions”, became sportive anthems. The album “Another One Bites The Dust” is the most important.
The band released a total of 18 number-one albums and singles, and 10 DVDs.

They were included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.

LED ZEPPELIN


They were an English rock band formed in London in 1968.
Members:
-Jimmy Page (guitar).
-Robert Plant (singer).
-John Paul Jones (bass and keyboard).
-John Bonham (drums).
They have 6 important albums which gave them fame.
They are considered one of the most important rock groups of the history.

They were included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

WHITE SNAKE


They are a rock band formed in England in 1968.
Members:
-David Coverdale (singer).
-Tommy Aldridge (drums).
-Reb Beach (guitar).
-Joel Hoekstra (guitar).
-Michael Devin (bass and harmonica).
-Michele Luppy (plays the keyboard).
The album “Whitesnake” is the most important.
After a period of time they split up, but then came again and they released another album.

They were named as the 85th greatest hard rock band.
